APURIMAC RIVER RAFTING 3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS
At 9:00 AM we ahead out to the "Huallpachaca" Bridge at an altitude of 2000 o.h.s, about 5 hours south east of Cusco. After lunch our guide gives us safety instructions followed by a demonstration of the equipment, and they also will give you a basic Rescue Course for this kind of river. We will raft for 1 ½ hours on Class II and III rapids. Then we will set up camp on one of the beautiful beaches of the Apurimac River and rest for the evening.
Day 01 - Cusco- Apurimac River
Day 02 - Apurimac River
After a healthy breakfast we pack up the camp and head off to begin rafting down Class III and IV rapids, stopping only for lunch. We may also walk some dangerous Class VI Rapids (that are impossible to run). Then we will set up the tents and rest.
Day 03 - Apurimac River - Cusco
After a good breakfast we raft down some Class III, IV and V rapids (The famous Class V - Toothache). After 5 hours we end our adventure at the Kunyac Bridge. We will have a barbecue lunch and then we will return to Cusco, arriving there at around 6:00 PM. In the evening we can enjoy the video of our trip in one of the pubs in Cusco.

We recommended to bring:
- Bathing Bathing suit and light clothes
- Towel
- Sandals or tennis shoes
- Shorts (to use over the wetsuit, because the raft is slippery when wet)
- Four pairs of socks
- Warm clothes for the night (fleece, long pants)
- Sleeping bag, mattress, flashlight
- Personal water bottle and snack
- Hat, sun block, mosquito repellent, toilet paper
- Take your things in a plastic disposable bag
